DESCRIPTION:You're invited to a benefit concert featuring John Rutter's Mass of the Children on Saturday\, June 10th\, at 7:30 pm at Trinity Episcopal Church in Newtown. This beautiful piece of music was written in response to a desire to compose a work that would bring children and adults together\, in the same way that performances of Britten's War Requiem had done for him when a school chorister. The concert is hosted by the Connecticut Choral Society and Trinity Episcopal Church to benefit the amazing work of Newtown Youth & Family Services.\n\n\n\nYou'll enjoy an evening of beautiful music and at the same time\, support the important work NYFS is doing in our community to help make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in need.\n\n\n\nAdmission is free with a $20 per person suggested donation gratefully accepted at the door in support of Newtown Youth & Family Services.* \n\n\nFor more information visit www.ctchoralsociety.com.
