DESCRIPTION:Take in the beauty of Tarrywile Park during this off-road race and help support the arts in your community!\n\n\n\nThe Danbury Music Centre\, which has been serving Greater Danbury for over 80 years\, will have a Nutcracker 5K Walk/Run fundraiser at Tarrywile Mansion and Park on Sunday\, April 15th at 8:30am. Tutus and costumes welcome and encouraged!\n\n\n\nThe trail covers moderate terrain ranging from grassy paths to narrow dir trails. Dogs on leashes are allowed in the park so you can spend a pleasant hour with your pet while supporting the DMC.\n\n\n\nProceeds will go towards the DMC's mission of bringing FREE concerts of great music to the people of our communities. The DMC's production of The Nutcracker Ballet\, in which hundreds of area dancers and musicians perform\, has been enchanting audiences for 50 years. The Centre's Danbury Concert Chorus has been part of the area's music offerings for over 80 years. The DMC is home to the Danbury Symphony Orchestra and Danbury Community Orchestra\, and ensembles that include Danbury Centre Strings\, Madrigal Singers\, and the Discovering Musical Concepts Band. The DMC's summer programs include Summer Strings\, Summer Bands and the Chamber Music Intensive. \n\n\n\nThank you to our Sponsor Belimo.
