DESCRIPTION:Since its inception in 1987\, this prestigious program is one of our longest-running and best-reviewed programs.\n\nLeadership Danbury prepares leaders for positions of responsibility by acquainting them with community processes and pressing issues. Participants will engage in discussions with established leaders\, go behind-the-scenes at the region's key institutions\, build leadership skills\, create a lasting network of contacts\, and give back to the community with a meaningful group project.\n\n\nWith a better understanding of the region's needs and their own potential\, participants can contribute their new knowledge and skills to their companies\, clients\, and communities\, the result being professional development\, regional growth\, and improved economic health.\n\nTopics Covered:\n\n  Greater Danbury History\n\n  Media\n\n  Health & Human Services\n\n  Public Education\n\n  Economic Development\n\n  Transportation Infrastructure\n\n  Natural / Cultural Environment\n\n  Judicial System\n\n  Professional Development\n\n  Team Building\n\nTuition cost is $1250 (unless you SIGN UP BY NOVEMBER 1st and it's $1000) for the program which includes all materials\, meals\, transportation\, excursions and professional development.\n\nProgram runs January-September and falls on the 4th Wednesday of the month. Plan to spend the entire day with us!!
