Welles spent some of the darkest hours in American history saving the lives of strangers.\n\n \n\nOn September 11th\, 2001\, United Flight 175 struck the World Trade Center's south tower and 9:03 a.m. Welles Crowther\, a 24-year-old equities trader from Nyack\, NY\, worked on the 104th floor. Amidst the smoke and chaos\, he somehow found an escape route past the inferno below\, and made three round trips up and down the stairs\, carrying and leading survivors to safety.\n\n \n\nTragically\, he died that day but his heroics became known eight months later as a result of an ordinary item...a red bandana.\n\n \n\nPlease come and honor Welles' memory and meet his parents who will be attending our screening.
