Directed by Jim Sharman\, Rocky launched the careers of Tim Curry\, Susan Sarandon\, Barry Bostwick\, and Meatloaf.\n\n\n\nRocky holds the record for the longest-running release in film history   a whopping 42 years and counting! Interestingly\, the film bombed when it was first released in 1975. When it was re-released as a midnight movie\, the film really took off! It was a midnight mainstay at The Palace Danbury during the 1980's.
