DESCRIPTION:All business is risk vs. reward\, and the financial planning process will help you assess both. Having a financial plan will not only help guide business development decisions and monitor results\, but it will also help you match your business concept with personal income goals. In addition\, the financial plan can be used as a budget and can be compared to actual results in the future. \n\nIn this session you will learn the importance of financial planning. You will learn how to build your financial model\, and how to understand financial statements\, including an income statement\, cash flow statement and balance sheet.\n\nThis program will be held at Union Savings Bank\, 126 North Street\, Danbury\, CT 06811. Check-in at the bank will be at 5:30pm\; workshops will start promptly at 6:00pm. Light refreshments will be served. Participants can register for any or all sessions based on their interests and needs and those who complete four out of the five programs will receive a certificate from the U.S. Small Business Administration\, adding value to their entrepreneurial journey.\n\nParking is available in the main bank parking lot and you can either take the stairs to the 3rd floor or take the elevator to the bank training room on the 3rd floor.
