Mar. 10th 7:00-8:00 pm Hagman concert hall in the Visual and Performing Arts Center Western Connecticut State University\, Westside campus An evening of percussion music featuring special guests Dr. Laurel Larsen\, piano\, and Dr. Kerry Walker\, flute. The hour-long program will include chamber music by Astor Piazzolla\, a marimba/piano work by Keiko Abe\, a piece for snare drum and electronics\, and previews of new work incorporating live looping\, generative composition\, steel pan\, sampled chip sets\, and reimagined post-Apocalyptic film. The event is free and open to the public. Donations will accepted in support of scholarships for WCSU music students
