Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting: Celebrating Success and Embracing Change

Danbury, CT - The Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce is holding the 2023 Annual Meeting at the Amber Room on October 27, 2023, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. This event will showcase a Chamber Year in Review, the election of new board members, and keynote speaker Dr. Manohar Singh, interim President of Western CT State University. This event is sponsored by the Savings Bank of Danbury.

Dr. Manohar Singh is a distinguished academic and leader with a wealth of experience and expertise. Since February 2019, he has been serving Southern Connecticut State University as the Dean of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies. Dr. Singh's research contributions are remarkable, with over 40 published manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals covering diverse fields, from finance and macroeconomics to management strategy and corporate social responsibility. As an educator, Dr. Singh has demonstrated his commitment to fostering global perspectives in students' learning experiences by designing and delivering courses worldwide. His passion for teaching excellence has been recognized with the Teaching Excellence Award at the Penn State Great Valley School of Graduate Professional Studies.
