The Brookfield Library is delighted to welcome Brendan Slocumb, author of last summer's One Town One Read – The Violin Conspiracy – for two innovative and thought-provoking presentations.
On February 16th at 11 a.m., we'll watch as Mr. Slocumb serves as the keynote speaker at Brookfield High School's "Diversity Day." Addressing the theme of "being true to yourself," he will share his powerful and poignant experiences growing up as a young Black classical musician. Mr. Slocumb's presentation will be livestreamed for an audience in the Library's Community Room. We will follow the livestream with a discussion.
