An immersive dining experience into Danbury’s rich immigrant history
In benefit of and co-hosted by: Danbury Museum & Historical Society and The New American Dream Foundation.
On Thursday, November 15, 2018, immerse yourself in Danbury’s rich immigrant history in a special evening co-hosted by Danbury Museum & Historical Society and The New American Dream Foundation. Featuring short film premiere, historic tour, 3-course dinner and panel discussion held at Danbury Museum & Historical Society, 43 Main Street, Danbury, CT 06810.
Program:
6:00 PM - “On Their Shoulders” - Premier of the short film “On Their Shoulders - Danbury’s Rich Immigrant History” commissioned by the New American Dream Foundation, directed and produced by Rmedia, in collaboration with the Danbury Museum & Historical Society.
6:30 PM- “In Their Shoes” - Tour of The John & Mary Rider House, built circa 1785 during Danbury's post-Revolutionary War period, and the Dodd House, built by John Dodd circa 1790 featuring an exhibit dedicated to the hatting industry in Danbury.
7:00 PM - Followed by 3-course Fall inspired dinner by Two Steps Down Grille (including unlimited soft drinks, and 1 glass of wine per guest), and panel discussion with film makers and cast moderated by Emanuela Palmares.
