Immaculate High School (IHS) will host a Food Truck Festival including a day of family-fun activities on Saturday, May 19 that features a variety of food trucks, craft artisans, inflatables, games, live music, an Immaculate’s Got Talent show and a 5K walk/run. Fantastic food trucks including Peachwave, Pork Friends & Company LLC, M and M Steaks, Fork in the Road, DrewbaQ, Makin Bacon and Rice & Beans will be there, as well as local craft artisans. Entertainment includes a Moon Bounce, mini golf, soccer darts, corn hole and giant Connect 4 and Jenga games, live entertainment inlcuding the band GoRjA and an Immaculate’s Got Talent show. To pre-purchase wristbands for the Food Truck festival at $7 each, go to www.immaculateh.org/foodtruck. Wristbands can be picked up at the door on May 19 or at IHS prior to the event. Wristbands will be available at the festival for $10. Participants of the IHS Third Annual She’s the First 5K Run/Walk in Tarrywile Park will get free access to the Food Truck Festival at Immaculate High School. Proceeds from the 5K go to She’s the First, an organization that provides scholarships to girls in low-income developing countries to help transform their lives through education and help them finish school. The Walk/Run is in memory of Rebecca Draper Townsend ‘15 who founded Immaculate’s She’s the First Chapter. To register for the She’s the First 5K Run/Walk, go to www.immaculatehs.org/stf5K.
